Durable Designs, a storm shelter design company, and Priority Medical Training, a company that trains for emergency situations, are working in concert to host the first Emergency Preparedness Expo this Saturday.

Austin said being prepared saves lives, which is the purpose of the expo.

She said citizens will have the opportunity to learn what to do in case of an emergency when one is not able to seek medical treatment from professionals.

The expo is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The Emergency Preparedness Expo will be held the Limestone Flea Market, located at 30030 U.S. Highway 72.
