Sci-Quest holding July 4 activities

Those who come dressed in red, white and blue will receive a free popsicle while supplies last.

Sci-Quest is celebrating July 4 with activities for the entire family.

Red, White and Fun will include hands-on arts and crafts activities.

“We’re always open on the fourth, so this year decided to include hands-on activities,” said Marketing Manager Jennifer Deermer. “We wanted to hold something during the afternoon families could do before they enjoy the fireworks put on my the Space and Rocket Center.”

The event will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sci-Quest will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. Red, White and Fun is included with general admission. All military families – active and retired – will receive free admission all day. Visit www.sci-quest.org or call 256-837-0606 for more information.

Those who come dressed in red, white and blue will receive a free popsicle while supplies last.
