Escaped teens from Three Springs in custody

The two 16-year-old males who escaped Three Springs School Tuesday morning were apprehended Wednesday morning, according to the Madison Police Department.

The two escapees were taken into custody near Production Avenue and Jetplex Drive off Madison Boulevard at approximately 7 a.m.

An employee at the Rocket City Deli discovered the two escapees hiding in a delivery vehicle when he reported for work this morning.

The escapees fled on foot. After a brief pursuit, they were both taken into custody without incident.

The Madison Police Department would like to express its gratitude to all citizens who provided information and assistance that ultimately led to the capture of the two individuals.

Their time at Three Springs is a result of charges of harassment and assault for one teen and a probation violation for robbery for the other.
