Logan’s Roadhouse set to open next month

By Aldo Amato

Staff Reporter

MADISON — Madison residents are one month away from enjoying the flavors of Logan’s Roadhouse.

The national chain is set to open in May at 8994 Madison Blvd. and will bring its old roadhouse recipes with its modern flair to establish itself as a local staple.

“Our team searches the country for the best restaurant sites, and we’re excited about opening our sixth location in northern Alabama,” Mike Andres, president and chief executive officer of Logan’s Roadhouse said in press release. “We see a lot of opportunity in this neighborhood. We plan to be a valuable part of the community by bringing to Madison a place where guests will feel comfortable and enjoy high-quality steaks in an upbeat atmosphere, all at a great price.”

The chain, known primarily for their steaks, allows guests to be informal, especially when waiting to be seated. One of the most recognizable features about the restaurant are the peanut shells throughout the restaurant’s floor.

“Guests are encouraged their peanut shells on the floor,” it said in the press release.

The Madison Blvd. location will be the sixth location in North Alabama. The 6,500 square-foot restaurant in Madison will seat 237 guests and will employ approximately 130 area residents.

“Guests can come as they are, be themselves and make lifelong friends,” the release read. “They are always encouraged to loosen up.”
