“Mayor Trulock will flip the switch on the city’s first musical light display at historic Clay House at 5:30 p.m.,” event coordinator Gayle Milam said. “16 Main will be adorned with 25,000 lights dancing to 10 of our favorite Christmas songs.”

Also on Nov. 23, stores, shops and restaurants in downtown Madison will hold open house all day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We wanted to give our community an entertaining display as well as support our businesses downtown during their Christmas Open House,” Trulock said. “We hope everyone will come out and visit our merchants, maybe get a few gifts marked off their list, have lunch or dinner and then join us for Christmas Magic.”

“What better way to kick off this great Christmas season than together with families in the community,” Trulock said.
