Truck to allow residents to dispose excess packaging after Christmas

A truck will collect extra garbage starting Dec. 30. (CONTRIBUTED)

MADISON – The Madison County Sanitation Department will provide a garbage truck in Madison so residents can dispose of extra garbage after Christmas.

The truck will be at the Madison County Service Center, 100 Plaza Blvd. on Dec. 30-31 and Jan. 2-3 from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The District 2 Commission office is in the center.

Madison residents can bring excess Christmas packaging at their convenience.
