James Clemens advances to second place in state math contest

MADISON – Students in the math team at James Clemens High School placed second in the Alabama Statewide Ciphering Finals.

Team members are Pratheek Bobba, Sunny Chennupati, Vinootna Kantety, Matt Kucera and Hari Pingali.

The math meet was held at the University of North Alabama. The team qualified for the event based on their performance in the Statewide Comprehensive Written Mathematics Exam.

Bob Jones High School students placed third in the state.
