MADISON – A popular performer on satellite radio, Kenn Kington will bring his wholesome blend of comedy to Asbury United Methodist Church on Aug. 22.

Kington’s show at 7 p.m. will be held in the Grace building, which houses Asbury’s sanctuary. “His comedy is the kind that doesn’t make you blush or cringe or use embarrassing language. He is just plain hilarious,” Asbury Director of Groups Rhonda Montgomery said.

In comedy for 25-plus years, Kington has appeared on the Comedy Central network and has a following on Laugh USA and Blue Collar Radio stations. As a corporate presenter, he has spoken for some of the world’s most successful organizations.

Formerly, Kington had a career as a top ten salesman for a Fortune 500 growth company. In his sessions at corporations today, he discusses topics like “Secrets of the Successful,” “Extraordinary Greatness,” “Speak So People Listen” and “How To Soar When the Economy Is Crashing”.

He has given presentations to Lockheed Martin, Siemens Corporation, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Marriott, Bank of America and several NFL and NBA teams. Kington frequently appears as a keynote speaker for executive events and conferences.

As an author, his best-selling books on relationships are in their seventh printing. His latest award-winning DVD, “2N Comedy,” compiles comedy and content that his audience finds inspiring, entertaining and memorable.

Kenn and wife Heather live in Atlanta with their sons Graham and Kody and daughter Kennedy.

“Get ready for one of the funniest nights of your life,” Montgomery said. To view his routine, visit youtube.com/watch?v=ai85CEPt6bU.

Advance tickets are $10 and available at Asbury or online at itickets.com. At the event, tickets will cost $12.
