MADISON – Why is football the sport best suited for Reese Lockett? “I like to tackle people,” he said.
This past year, Reese played Upwards Flag Football for the Panthers. For flag football, Reese enjoyed playing rusher on defense, and he also played running back.
Basketball is another game that Reese enjoys. He played for the Red Devils in Madison last year.
At Columbia Elementary School, Reese is in second grade. He is a member of the Drama Club and Math Club.
Reese’s parents are Akeem and Jordan Lockett. Akeem works as a software developer. A former school teacher, Jordan is a stay-at-home mom.
Reese’s older brother Harrison is in third grade at Columbia elementary. His sisters are Embrey, enrolled at Madison City Pre-Kindergarten Center, and three-year-old Edie.
“My mom, dad and older brother moved to Madison in March of 2008, about a year before I was born,” Reese said. “My dad got a new job as a software developer for NASA.”
