Bob Jones offers sports camps this summer

MADISON – Young athletes can hone their skills at several sports camps, sponsored by Bob Jones High School.

Patriot Softball Camp on July 11-13 will assemble at Bob Jones softball field from 9 a.m. to noon. Students who will enter kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible. Cost is $75. Coach Whitney Deaver is contact; call 256-508-2139 or email wedeaver@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Patriot Baseball Camp is open to prospective first- through sixth-graders on June 26-28. Sessions will meet from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Bob Jones baseball field. Cost is $75. Contact Coach Jared Smith at 256-627-9167 or jasmith@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Patriot Boys Soccer Camp on June 5-9 will meet from 5 to 8 p.m. on Bob Jones practice field on Eastview. Boys who will enter fourth through twelfth grade are eligible. Cost is $75. To contact Coach Uwe Spiller, call 256-509-2714 or email uwespiller@intergaph.com.

Lady Patriot Basketball Camp on June 5-7 will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Bob Jones gym. Students who will enter grades 1-9 can enroll. Cost is $75. Contact is Coach Andre Reynolds; call 256-337-7109 or email ajreynolds@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Patriot Track Camp will meet on June 6-9 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Bob Jones turf field. Cost is $75. Prospective first- through ninth-graders can attend. For information, call Coach Brad Jefferson at 256-658-4060 or email bjefferson@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Patriot Boys Basketball Camp on May 30 through June 1 will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. in Bob Jones main gym. Prospective second- through ninth-graders can attend. Cost is $75. Luther Tiggs is contact; call 256-783-1581 or email lhtiggs@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Patriot Football Camp, sponsored by Landers McLarty, will be held June 6-8 from 8 to 10 a.m. for children who will enter grades K-6. The camp is free to the first 100 campers. Patriot Color Guard Camp on June 12-15 will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. in Bob Jones small gym. Students who will enter fourth through ninth grade can attend. Cost is $75. For information, contact Band Director Leigh Thomas by calling 204-412-8702 or emailing lthomas@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Patriot Volleyball Clinic on June 27-29 will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. in Bob Jones gym. Prospective second- through eighth-graders are eligible. Cost is $75. To contact Coach April Marsh, call 256-762-1264 or email ammarsh@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Patriot Cheerleader Camp on Aug. 19 will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for students who will enter kindergarten through eighth grade. Sessions will meet in Bob Jones gym. Cost is $40. For information, email Michele Cleveland at mcleveland@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Patriot Wrestling Camp on July 25 will meet from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Bob Jones wrestling facility. The camp is free and open to students entering kindergarten through eighth grade. Contact Coach Matt Sweatman by calling 706-676-7477 or emailing mlsweatman@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Patriot Lacrosse Camp will meet June 12-15 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Bob Jones practice field. Prospective fourth- through ninth-graders can attend. Cost is $40. Contact is Paul Burke; call 256-658-6609 or email bobjoneslax@gmail.com.

Camps will be held rain or shine.
