Discovery Car Show features vehicles, food trucks

MADISON – The Panther Bands of Discovery Middle School will present the 2017 Car Show and Food Truck Rally on May 6 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Spectators will be admitted free, and parking is free. A silent auction will be held for various gift baskets and other merchandise. Artisans will have their work for sale at a craft fair.

Live entertainment will keep the atmosphere lively during the car show. Food trucks will offer tasty sandwiches, other carnival food and beverages. Sponsors include Veloce Indoor Speedway, State Farm – Diana Fisher Insurance & Financial Services Inc., Hornbuckle Auto Detailing, ColorXpress, Phoenix Motors Automotive Repair and Lyons Design.

Car owners will pay the $20 entry fee, regardless of size or age of the vehicle. Awards will be based on the favorites of section leaders. Car show participants also will receive giveaways.
