City to conduct active shooter drill at Liberty

MADISON – Firefighters in Madison Fire & Rescue Department and officers in Madison Police Department will conduct an active shooter drill on July 19 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The drill will be staged at Liberty Middle School, 281 Dock Murphy Drive west of County Line Road. Police and fire department employees will maintain a presence on the Liberty campus, and this area will be restricted to authorized persons during this time.

Officials will send a NIXLE alert before the drill begins and after it ends.
