Garden club sponsors drought presentation

MADISON – Madison Garden Club is sponsoring a free presentation on water conservation, and the public is invited to attend.

Rhonda Britton, Regional Extension Agent, will present “Drought and Water Conservation” on Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Summit Crossing Church, 7200 Governors West in Huntsville.

During the hour-long program, Britton will discuss the drought during summer and fall of 2016 and the impact on plants, trees and shrubs in our landscape. “You also can hear about ways to prevent drought stress on our landscape using water conservation practices,” club publicist Suzanne Kirkhuff said.
