Volunteers can help American Legion with flags

MADISON – Anyone willing to show respect to veterans and, at the same time, help the community can volunteer with American Legion, Post 229 on Nov. 18.

“Thank you to all for the outstanding participation at the Placing of Flags on Nov. 4,” Commander Carlos F. Woods, American Legion Post 229, said. “Now, it is time to pick up these flags.”

Members of Madison American Legion hope that local organizations will provide support for this effort on Nov. 18 at 9 a.m. “The Madison community is invited to help. We hope to see you there,” Woods said.
