Superintendent Parker to give presentation on history of Madison schools May 28
MADISON – Madison Superintendent of Education Robby Parker will use his unique story-telling abilities to share the history of Madison schools.
Parker will be the guest speaker for the Madison History Association meeting Tuesday, May 28, 6-7 p.m. at the Madison Public Library. It will free to the public to attend.
Parker is a 31-year veteran of Madison schools as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent and currently Superintendent.
He has been with the school system since its inception in 1998, seeing it through explosive enrollment and rising accolades as a top performing school district. He was principal at Bob Jones High School for 10 years, as well as principal at Discovery Middle.
