For their next public work, Encore Opera Theatre will present “Cosi fan tutte – Love Is Never a Sure Bet,” the famous opera that Mozart composed. This comic opera focuses on two sisters who each has a lover who is a military officer.

Don Alfonso, a cynical bachelor, makes a bet with the two officers that their girlfriends would fall in love easily with someone else. Pretending to sail away on military assignments, the two lovers disguise themselves and try to win over the other girl. “Love is never a sure bet” as the subtitle says.
