Main Event hopes to raise $10,000 for Still Serving Veterans in first week

HUNTSVILLE – Main Event officially opened their family entertainment center at Bridge Street Town Center in a big way on Friday.
Representatives of Main Event presented Still Serving Veterans a $2,500 check. They also announced that through March 4, every strike bowled on Lane 11 will automatically add another $10 to the donation. Their goal is to reach $10,000. Main Event General Manager Justin Hutchins and Sales Manager Allyson Myers presented “Still Serving Veterans” Chief Operations Office Bill Koch the donation at Friday’s grand opening and ribbon cutting.
Hutchins said at the grand opening he couldn’t find a better target for their local fundraising initiative, “Pins for Purpose” than “Still Serving Veterans”. Please see here for additional details on “Still Serving Veterans”.

According to Main Event, the nearly 50,000-square-foot venue features 22 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, each with unique technology and luxury seating, games, virtual reality experiences, high-flying gravity ropes and billiards. The Huntsville Main Event will also be one of the few Main Event centers in the country to have Multiball, a new attraction that combines digital gaming with interactive sports, a private VIP bowling lane, and an elevated bar area with clear sight lines so parents can have fun while watching their children.

“As a company focused on connecting people in meaningful ways and building memories that will last a lifetime, we are excited to call Huntsville home,” said Chris Morris, President and Chief Executive Officer of Main Event Entertainment, who was also at the grand opening “We couldn’t be more proud to open our 46th location, and first in Alabama, and bring fun, games and memories to the Huntsville community.  In addition to a fun venue, we are proud to bring nearly 200 new jobs to the Huntsville community.”

In addition to their partnership with Still Serving Veterans, Main Event is partnering with MiLB AA Huntsville Trash Pandas. They will be sponsoring the Main Event Moment of the game and birthday celebrations as well as, operating the Toyota Field “Kid Zone” playground.

The new center will be open Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Friday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight. For more information, visit mainevent.com/huntsville.
