‘Off the Menu’ to serve delectable tasting samples in downtown Madison
MADISON –Main Street Madison will debut a new downtown event that is sure please guests who are hungry for the town’s tastiest dishes.
“Off the Menu: A Downtown Madison Tasting Event” is a lively community celebration and food-tasting event in the heart of downtown Madison. The event host, Main Street Madison, is a 501(c)6 organization dedicated to the revitalization of downtown.
“Whether you come for the live music, local food or fall community spirit, the Off the Menu tasting event is the perfect way to experience downtown this fall,” Jen Delessio said. Delessio serves as Executive Director of Main Street Madison.
Off the Menu on Nov. 14 will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. General admission is free for individuals to enjoy live music, family activities and community entertainment.
A tasting ticket costs $40 and gives the guest access to exclusive food samples from downtown Madison’s favorite restaurants and cafes:
• Old Black Bear – Southern Goulash on Grits, 212 Main St.
• Main Street Cafe – Chicken ‘n Dumplings, 101 Main St.
• Zanotta’s Ristorante – Tuscan Potato Soup, 112 Main St.
• The Vine & Oak – Walking Charcuterie Cup, 69 Martin St.
• Lanier Tea House – Sticky Toffee Pudding, Victorian Sponge Cake and Hot Pumpkin Spice Tea, 20 Martin St.
To buy tickets, visit mainstreetmadison. org/products/off-the-menu-downtown- madison-tasting-event. Or, another path is to visit mainstreetmadison. org, and click the “Events” dropdown menu. Then, click “Off the Menu Tasting Event.” On the next window, complete the boxes for ticket purchases. Guests can pick up tickets ordered online at the Main Street Madison table in Garner Alley (off Main Street) on event day.
