Overnight burglaries injure one

Two late night burglaries kept Huntsville police busy overnight Thursday.  The first one happened just before 10 p.m. in the 4200 block of Boxwood Court. The victim told police he was upstairs when a loud noise came from downstairs. The victim then proceeded downstairs to investigate the disturbance and discovered that his apartment door had been kicked open and that someone had  rummaged through the living room. He told police that nothing appeared to be missing and he must have scared off whomever it was.

A 15 year-old was injured in another burglary early Friday morning in North Huntsville around 1:30 a.m.  The teen told police that three men he knew were armed with handguns and forced their way inside by kicking open the door to his home. The teen was struck in the head and his injuries seemed to be minor No arrests have been made in either burglary.
