TVRC to host Huntsville International Airport representative

By Aldo Amato

Staff Reporter

MADISON – The Tennessee Valley Republican Club (TVRC) will host a representative from Huntsville International Airport to answer questions about high rates on March 9.

Recently, Huntsville International Airport was named one of the most expensive airports in the country.

Residents from Huntsville and Madison will be able to ask questions to Barbie Peek, a representative for the airports, and gain answers regarding the high rates.

TVRC Program Director David Michael Smith said that he is happy the club is able to provide a public service like this.

“The public really deserves to know what is going,” Smith said. “We’re glad to have someone from the airport come out and their willingness to discuss better ways the public can work together with them.”

The event is from 8-10 a.m. at the Best Western Plus in Madison and is free to the public with the option of a breakfast buffet.

“Anybody can come and she is basically going to explain what the public and airport can do to help each other out,” Smith said. “They have been really great about it and they are trying to find out ways to improves.”

The Best Western Plus located on 9035 Madison Blvd in Madison.
