Sixth-graders help underclassmen build rockets at West Madison

During Space Week, a West Madison sixth-grader stands and offers tips for drafting rocket designs to third-grade students. (CONTRIBUTED)

MADISON – Upperclassmen at West Madison Elementary School helped their younger schoolmates during Space Week.

Students in sixth-grade offered suggestions to the third-graders about building rockets. The younger students drew paper-and-pencil designs for the objects and used advice from their older friends.

Third-grader teacher Jennifer Creasy guided the project.
