MADISON – Do you know a woman trying to re-enter the job market or who needs improved skills for a better job? Christian Women’s Job Corps is offering classes to help these individuals.

Currently, the women’s job corps is accepting applications for the 2015 fall semester.

“Christian Women’s Job Corps is a free, faith-based job readiness program designed to provide experiences and skills that allow our graduates to compete in the job market and create a brighter future for themselves and their families,” site coordinator Susan Elder said.

The corps offers classes at Inside-Out Ministries, 103 Gin Oaks Court in Madison. Women from 18 to 60 years old are eligible.

“We teach basic computer skills, job search skills, money management and, most importantly, Bible study,” Elder said.

The next semester will open in August. “Seating is limited, so apply today,” Elder said.

Participation in the Christian Women’s Job Corps program allows students to improve life and work skills through courses. “In each of the free 10- to 12-week sessions, students are given a firm foundation on which to build a successful life and career,” Elder said.

Before the classes are completed, corps instructors pair each student with a mentor, which starts the mentor phase. “In this phase, the student and mentor commit to a six-month relationship designed to aid in providing direction to the student’s spiritual and career goals,” Elder said.

“Please help spread the word of Christian Women’s Job Corps in your church, neighborhood, email lists and Facebook page,” Elder said.
