Over 900 seniors from Bob Jones and James Clemens received their diplomas

Bob Jones and James Clemens high schools held graduations yesterday at the VBC. Between the two schools, 926 graduates received their diplomas and entered into the world to make a difference.

The day also marked the last graduation ceremony for Connie Spears to attend as an official Madison City Board of Education Member. Her last meeting is tonight at 5 p.m. at the school district’s central office.

Connie has given the school district 10 years of faithful service on the school board. A reception in her honor will be held this afternoon prior to the board meeting.

The Madison Record will feature a special graduation issue recognizing all of the graduates from Bob Jones, James Clemens, Sparkman, St. John Paul II Catholic High School and Madison Academy. It will be included in the May 22 issue of The Madison Record and Madison County Record.
